A perfect location for your next meeting or event

One of the Harbor History Museum's goals is to provide a vital and accessible gathering space for our community. As such, we invite community groups of all kinds to use the Museum facility for meetings, programs, and events.

The spaces available for rental in the Museum facility are:

Meeting Room small

Resource Room - Perfect for meetings of any kind. This space supports audio/visual presentations. Food and drink allowed. Available during and after museum hours of operation. Capacity 46.

Non-profit organizations are welcome to use the Resource Room of the Museum for a 2 hour meeting up to once per quarter for FREE.

Lobby small

Lobby - The Museum's lobby is a perfect spot for private or corporate receptions. Food and drink are allowed. Not available during museum hours of operation. Capacity 88.

Entire Facility - The entire Museum facility, including the lobby, gift shop, permanent gallery, special exhibition gallery, maritime gallery, and Midway School can be rented after museum hours of operation for private receptions. Food and drink must be restricted to the Lobby. Capacity 250.

Basic Party Package – Up to 30 Children

Member Price: $150
Non-Member Price: $225

Includes:

- Scavenger hunt in museum galleries
- Use of Resource Room for up to 1 1/2 hours
- Table cloths, paper plates, plastic utensils, napkins and two large garbage cans/bags
- Party Host to help with set-up and clean-up
- 30 Invitation postcards

 

Extreme Party Package – Up to 30 Children

Member Price: $225
Non-Member Price: $300

Includes:

- Scavenger hunt in museum galleries
- Use of Resource Room for up to 2 hours
- Table cloths, paper plates, plastic utensils, napkins and two large garbage cans/bags
- 30 Invitation postcards
- Craft Project for up to 30 children. Choose from:

* Decorate your own treasure box
* Decorate your own journal/book
* Decorate your own picture frame

Add-ons – Can be added onto the Party Package with an additional cost:

- Juice boxes - $0.50 each
- Pizza and Juice box (cheese or pepperoni) - $2.00 per child
- Gourmet cupcakes provided by Bella Bella Cupcakes - $2.00 each
- Party Favors: Old-fashioned toys - $4.50 each

Decorations

Glitter and confetti of any kind may not be used for decorations. A $50.00 fee will be added for any additional clean up caused by confetti or glitter.

Pinatas need to be ribbon pull only and filled with candy or toys only. No stick hitting is allowed.

Room Set Up

The Museum will supply tables and chairs based on estimated amount of guests

Deposit

A 50% deposit is required at the time the party reservation is made to secure party space. The balance must be paid on the day of the party along with fees for any additional add-ons and/or guests. The Museum accepts cash, checks and credit card payments.
