Take Advantage of our Resource Room

The Harbor History Museum's Resource Room has an extensive collection of biographies, letters, documents, oral history transcripts, news clippings, regional history books, periodicals, and photographs from throughout Gig Harbor's past. The Museum strives to provide materials for research across the region.

The Resource Room is open to the public on Thursdays from 10 am to noon, with research volunteers.

Note: There is no charge for using the Resource Room for research purposes.  Access to the Resource Room does not include access to the exhibit galleries. If you wish to tour the galleries, you will need to purchase entry at the Admissions counter in the lobby.

Photocopy fees: The museum charges for copies relating to your research. Please ask a research committee member for current fees.
