On January 26, 2009, we began the move into the new facility. The administrative office is up and running, the research area is coming together, and the society's entire collection has moved into its new state-of-the-art storage facility.
The capital campaign to finish the facility continues - we are at more than80% of our goal! Once the campaign is finished, the doors will open to a major cultural center on the Kitsap Peninsula.
Until then, special "open house" events will provide site tours and provide us the opportunity to share the vision of the future Harbor History Museum...and complete the capital campaign.
